About Me

Originally from Grosse Pointe, Michigan, Edie Lomason relocated to Florida’s Gulf Coast in 1999 with a move to Osprey, where she lived for five years before finally settling on Venice Island with her 2 children and husband of 30 years. As a longtime licensed real estate agent, Edie engages her diverse professional experience to ensure the best service and results for home buyers and sellers.

After graduating from California State University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and business management, Edie worked for TRW Real Estate Investment marketing group, where she designed and produced marketing materials. Edie also enjoyed a position in the automotive industry from 1989 to 1999 marketing and selling automotive seating and seating components to Chrysler, Ford, GM and Mercedes. In this role, she was responsible for the sale, management, implementation, and production of multi-million-dollar seating projects for various vehicles.

Edie transitioned her career to the real estate industry when she earned her license in 1990 in Michigan. Since then, she has elevated her knowledge of the profession by obtaining the Accredited Buyers Representative certification and The Certified Luxury Marketing Home Specialist Guild certification. In 2000, Edie acquired her license in Florida and has worked full-time as a residential specialist ever since. Joining Michael Saunders & Company in 2014 Edie developed her exceptional customer service skills, local knowledge and garnered recognition as a Sarasota Magazine Five-Star Best in Client Satisfaction agent from 2006 to 2023.

An active part of her community, Edie is a member of the Robert’s Bay Harbor Committee, the Venice Area Board of Realtors, the Realtors Political Action Committee, President of Women's Sertoma Club of Venice, the Venice Sailing Squadron, the Venice Area Board of Realtors Special Events and Fundraising committee, South County Tiger Bay and a member of the Venice Yacht Club. In her spare time, she enjoys boating, sailing, fishing and spending time with family.
